The whole team is finally together. Early tomorrow morning we leave for Lukla and a downhill walk to Pakding for our first day on the Khumbu trail. Right now it is pouring rain in Kathmandu and Internet is spotty. A few team members, including Rob, went for a cycling tour of the countryside outside the city this morning. The rest of us went to the Monkey Temple for some sightseeing. The New Moon Festival is going on this week so the city and the temples are jammed full of people. Everyone is looking forward to escaping to the quiet of the hills…
Tomorrow Lukla, today monkeys and bicycles

Hey Clinton,
just wanted to tell you, I had just dropped off some more IDEAS bracelets to Catharine Adams. Madison had broken hers, and was just devastated. On St. Patrick’s day, the class was asked if they won the pot of gold, what would they do. Her first wish was to donated to IDEAS…! A very special little girl who donated the first loonie when we started fund raising for IDEAS.
miss you, and think of you everyday…
Love mom
